Electricity Reduction

As you may have noticed there has been a reduction in the electricity charges per unit. We managed to negotiate a reduction in the rate which has now been fixed for three years.

Gas Price

The gas price reduction that was advised on the last newsletter has not yet been implemented, as the weather has been so mild we still have over a third  of capacity in the  tanks that was bought at the old price. The reduction will be applied to the next bill.

Gas Checks

You will note a date on your bill showing the date that your gas safety check is due. Can you please ensure that gas safety checks are carried out and a copy of the certificate obtained is handed in at the office for our records.

Barrier Zappers

We have become aware that some residents are using the zappers inappropriately on the main barrier. The zappers are intended for use when in close proximity to the barrier. Can you please ensure you are ready to exit/enter the barrier and remember that the zapper will close as well as open the barrier. We accept no responsibility for damage caused through misuse of the zappers if the barrier arm should come down on your car, or someone else.

Cats and Dogs

We have in recent weeks had some very worrying events on the park. Four Cats (and possibly also a dog) have died on the park with evidence pointing towards poisoning. Can we please ask all residents to be aware and check under and around their lodges and caravans to ensure that no anti-freeze or other poisons are left where animals have access. The RSPCA have been informed and are working with us to try to identify the source, if anyone has any information relating to this can you please contact us as soon as possible. In the mean time can we please encourage all pet owners to be vigilant.

Fouling

We have had a complaint about dogs fouling on the park.

Please pick up when on the park and the dog walking area, there is no need when dogs foul in the woods unless on the foot paths
