Welcome
Welcome
to Ron and Iris Smith who have recently joined us on St Godric’s
Walk, we wish you many happy years with us.
Barrier
The
card barrier entry system to the main gate has a limit of 600 cards on the memory.
This limit has now been reached and as a result we are getting some problems
with the system rejecting cards.
To
solve the problem the whole system must be reset. Cards that are currently in
use must be manually reloaded onto the swipe card machine. In order to do this
all cards must be returned to the shop. While the cards are out of use a
barrier code may be used for access and exit from the park.
New
cards will be issued, two per home, these will be available to collect from the
shop from Tuesday 8th September.
We have
limited it to two cards per home to try to help limit our costs but if you
would like more cards they can be purchased for £5 per card.
‘Gate Zapper’
Anyone
who has purchased a ‘zapper’ for the gate to the residential park, we are now
able to load this onto the main barrier. The ‘zapper’ will only open the ‘entry
side’ barrier and please note that on busy days
, this must not be used as the zapper will also close the barrier as
well as open it.
This
facility must be used with caution. Please see Michael.
If you
have not yet purchased a ‘zapper’ and would like one, they are available at the
shop for £35.

In the
last newsletter we reminded everyone about the craft and coffee mornings but we
forgot the chess morning! It’s on Tuesdays at 10 in the village hall. All are
welcome and sorry for the delayed invite!

Domino night.
The
next pie and pea supper and quiz night will be on Wednesday 30th
September, all are welcome, more details available from Mary or via the
Thursday morning Coffee mornings.
